Frequently asked questions

How Parkstalgia works: where our Walt Disney World change history comes from, how it is verified, what we store, and what the tool does not do.

What is Parkstalgia?

Parkstalgia answers one question: what has changed at Walt Disney World since your last trip? Tell us the month and year you last visited and we build a personalised report of what opened, what closed, what was replaced and what now works differently.

Do I need an account?

No. The full change report is free and works without signing up. An optional free account lets you save your visit history and your next trip so the report is waiting for you when you come back.

How many changes are tracked?

We currently track 210 verified changes across 4 Walt Disney World theme parks, plus resorts, transportation and park-wide planning changes such as ticketing and Lightning Lane.

Where does the information come from?

Historical changes are compiled and reviewed by our editors, each with an effective date, a source and a verification status; nothing unverified is published. Live park and attraction data is provided in part by ThemeParks.wiki.

How often is it updated?

Live park data is collected automatically throughout the day. Historical changes are added as they are researched and verified, so an entry appears once we can source and date it — not the moment a rumour appears.

Is this an official Disney site?

This site is an independent planning and historical-information service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company.

Does it plan my trip or book anything?

No. There is no itinerary builder, no booking, no wait-time forecasting and no crowd calendar. It exists to catch you up on what changed, and to flag things worth knowing before you go back.

What do you do with my email address?

We use it to sign you in and, if you ask us to watch a trip, to tell you about changes that affect those dates. We do not sell it. Email hello@parkstalgia.com any time to have your data deleted.

I found something wrong. Can I tell you?

Yes, please do. Email hello@parkstalgia.com with the entry and, if you have one, a source. Corrections are reviewed and dated like any other entry.
