Privacy policy

Parkstalgia is built so that the main tool works without an account and without knowing who you are. This page explains the information we do handle.

What we collect

  • What you type into the tool. The month and year of your last visit and the parks you select. Used to build your report.
  • Trip dates you choose to save. Arrival and departure dates you enter under “Going back?”, so we can flag changes that fall in that window.
  • Account details, only if you create one. Your email address, a first name if you give one, and the visit history you save.
  • Email address, if you ask us to watch a trip.
  • Anonymous usage events. Counts of things like a report being generated or a park section being opened, so we can see which parts of the site are useful. These are not tied to your name and we do not use advertising trackers.

What we never collect

We do not ask for payment details, phone numbers, home addresses, or anything about your Disney reservations or park tickets. We have no access to your My Disney Experience account.

How it is stored and shared

Information is stored in our hosted database, and each account can only read its own saved records. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only where a service we use to run the site needs it, such as our hosting and database provider and, if you request emails, our email delivery provider.

How long we keep it

Saved trips and history stay until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Usage events are kept in aggregate.

Your choices

You can use the whole change report without an account. If you have one, you can ask us to export or delete everything associated with it by emailing hello@parkstalgia.com. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
